Frequently asked questions

Why only 5–7 days?
The muscle-relaxant Thiocolchicoside is restricted to short courses for safety. Your doctor will not prescribe it for long-term use.
Who should not take it?
It must be avoided in pregnancy, in breastfeeding, and in women who could become pregnant and are not using contraception, as well as people with the heart conditions listed for ETORENZA.
Will it make me drowsy?
It can. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
Can I take it for my long-term back pain?
Not as a long-term treatment. It is for short flare-ups with muscle spasm. Your doctor will plan ongoing care separately.
Can I drink alcohol with it?
Avoid alcohol — it adds to drowsiness and stomach irritation.
What if symptoms continue after 7 days?
Do not extend the course yourself. Go back to your doctor to review your treatment.
